I've got $10,000 and an hour
Well, this is an easy one for me given that I'm working on a big, expensive project at the moment:
1. Two new mini-DV cameras: probably the Panasonic DVX-100B with wide angle lenses, extra battery packs, chargers, carrying cases, the works
2. Two new tripods, because we only have one right now and it's getting kind of janky from heavy use
3. A really really good boom mic and accessories
4. And insurance for all aforementioned equipment
And if there's anything left:
5. Plane tickets and hotel rooms for Christine and Dan to follow the Wrens to Germany next month

Spookyily similar to my own answer, 'cept I was talking stills, right down to the plane tickets!
When is this big expensive project going to be done? How much live footage do you really need?
Good question. We're at 150 hours of footage now and pretty much done with the live footage aspect. The focus now is on spending lots of time with the band, talking to them and doing followup interviews, observing studio time, and trying to get candid "life stuff." And multiple cameras can really be helpful in the latter two situations.
